Theresa
R. Pantanella - MPA, OT/L
Theresa
earned her bachelor degree in Occupational Therapy from Ohio
State University in 1988 and her master's degree in Public
Administration from Nova Southeastern University in 1999.
In 1996, she started Florida Aquatic Therapy & Exercise.
She has specialized in aquatic rehabilitation for the past
four years of her extensive 13-year career in rehabilitation.
As a therapist,
she has treated individuals suffering from shoulder injuries,
lumbar and cervical problems, knee injuries and a host of
repetitive movement disorders, including carpal tunnel syndrome,
lateral epicondylitis and radial nerve palsy.
As an
instructor, Theresa has served in the capacity of Fieldwork
Coordinator and Adjunct Faculty for the Occupational Therapy
Program at Barry University, taught numerous courses in aquatic
therapy to occupational and physical therapists in Florida
and has been chosen as the Certified Trainer for the Broward
County Arthritis Foundation in Aquatic Exercise.
Currently,
Theresa is authoring a text on aquatic therapy theory and
techniques. An expert in her field, Theresa continues to
own and operate Florida Aquatic Therapy & Exercise.
